Your paper is deteriorating into bias and divisiveness

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is quite unfortunate that your newspaper is deteriorating into a divisive, unapologetic and biased news outlet. For many days now the face of Mr. Mingo graced your pages. Today his case was withdrawn, and not a word from your news outlet.

I heard what he did. I don’t agree, but you painted him as the worst human being alive even entertaining pieces from “dem boys seh”. Why no story about the withdrawn case?

You should apologise to this man. No one is perfect, and just so you are aware your readership is steadily decreasing. I hope your finances are in order.

Editor’s Note. The story on the dismissal of the contempt case against Region Four Returning Officer, Clairmont Mingo, having happened yesterday, is carried in today’s edition. We stand by our reporting on Mingo’s fraudulent tabulation in favour of the APNU+AFC coalition, an issue that has not [yet] been brought before the courts. We encourage all views in Kaieteur News, including criticisms of our coverage.
