Those elected must be held accountable for their performance

Dear Editor,

Our party congratulates the Guyanese people on a peaceful nomination day. Although we will not participate in this year’s elections, CRG looks forward to continuing our unbiased guidance on key issues affecting the populace during the next five years. As previously mentioned, 2020 will mark the 50th anniversary of our young nation becoming the Cooperative Republic of Guyana and as we celebrate this jubilee with our family and friends, let’s keep in mind that those elected must be held accountable and work to ensure a better and more secure future for all Guyanese. The vote that is cast on March 2nd is the power each individual holds to ensure that our leaders are held accountable for their performance and it is also a vote of confidence for those who we each deem as having what it takes to uplift our family towards a better future.

May our nation’s success reflect the success of all our people.

Yours faithfully,

Jamil Changlee

Chairman, The Cooperative Republicans of Guyana (CRG)
