President distributes hampers in East Berbice Villages

President Dr Irfaan Ali also visited the communities of Gangaram, Betsy Ground and Adelphi where he distributed hampers, which contain a month’s supply of food and hygiene items.

The Head of State noted that the Government is committed to providing relief to citizens during this difficult period and a series of interventions will be announced by the end of the week. These interventions, he said, will cater to every household and family across Guyana.
