Ministry of Public Security warns of fake GPF Facebook page
The Ministry of Public Security is asking persons to be wary of the Facebook page purporting to be the official page of the Guyana Police Force, but which has been found to be a fake page aimed at spreading misinformation.
In a press release on Friday, March 06, 2020, Mary C. Adams, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Public Security, said, “Please be advised that there is a FAKE PAGE under the name ‘The Guyana Police Force’ purporting to be the official Facebook page of the Guyana Police Force.
The page has recently released inaccurate information regarding the Hon. Minister Khemraj Ramjattan. PLEASE TAKE NOTE that the Official Facebook page of the Guyana Police Force is: ‘Guyana Police Force’.”
