Gandhian greeting

Dear Editor,

It is interesting to see how the current ‘Corona Virus’ is encouraging people to use the ‘Gandhian’ clasped hand in prayerful greetings of one another instead of the usual handshake.

Besides being healthier, it certainly inspires humility in a world that has unfortunately grown unduly arrogant.

While we do not want the Corona Virus to continue, we might do well to consider continuing to use the ‘clasped hand’ form of greeting….even if we do not use the word ‘Namaste!’!
