Coalition Members are encouraged to disband and form strong third party alliances for 2020
Dear Editor,
We urge the members of APNU to reflect that they did not sign on to oppress the people of Guyana with patently incompetent economic management enforced by rigged elections. They, along with the AFC, should consider that any negotiations with the PNCR would be equivalent to making a pact with the devil in light of the PNC’s history and its current treatment of PPP supporters, who are Guyanese and equally deserving of fair treatment within our national economic framework, but are not benefiting from such under the current administration.
Government under the PNC-led coalition is guaranteed to fail, because of its inherent predisposition of marginalization of PPP supporters. APNU members are therefore urged to withdraw their support from the coalition and form third party alliances to offer Guyanese come March 2020.
The government of the coalition has long ended its official existence, and lacks any basis whatsoever of making any policy decisions on behalf of Guyanese. We are all urged to strengthen third party alliances to offer ourselves something better than the PNC and the PPP come 2020.
